I find it very interesting that we as Americans have a class
system that is not talked about, pre say, but is acknowledge every day. Why do
we put others, and ourselves, into categories like cereal brands? Is it beneficial
in anyway? Not really. So what if you are not Raisin Bran. You didn’t come from
the same factory nor do you have the same nutritional value, but you still are
a grain used as food, which is the definition of a cereal. Cheerios are not the
same as Froot Loops, and I realize there is a difference. Difference gives variety
and variety is good, but it should not be used to perceive others as better or
worse. We are different but have a common purpose and that makes relationships,
people, and life a beautiful thing.
